| Service | Description | Access | Resource type | Scope |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ADaMS | ADaMS is CERN’s access distribution and management system which enables managing in a flexible manner access to a large variety of resources (buildings, experiments, tunnels, electronic cabinets, etc.). It compiles users’ access rights by centralising conditions from different sources (user’s trainings, IMPACT approval, safety conditions, etc.) and it allows users to easily check their access rights and identify missing conditions for a specific access. | CERN account required | Web interface | Access distribution and management system |
| CERN Geographic Information System (GIS) | he GIS portal allow CERN users to consult geographical data of the Patrimony and Site intormation department (ISP), of the equipments maintained by the different CERN departments, as well as data from the Information system of the Genevan territory (SITG), collected for all CERN infrastructures. | CERN account required | Web portal | CERN Geographic Information System |
| CERNmap | CERNmap is a web application which helps you find your way at CERN (it can be downloaded also on mobile devices). | CERN account required | Web application | CERN's online map |
| Intervention Management Planning and Coordination Tool (IMPACT) | IMPACT is a central repository of activity requests that standardises the way work is declared at CERN and allows the coordination of different works. The tool analyses the job and sees whose approval is required, therefore ensuring that the people performing the job are qualified in matter of safety and have followed the appropriate training. The IMPACT platform unifies CERN’s major experiment, accelerator and injector coordination tools. | CERN account required | Web application and repository | Declaration and coordination of work |
| Layout Database | The Layout Database is a model of the system architecture in which every component in LHC is defined as a Functional Position (FP) which specifies the size and the position of the space that the component occupies in the accelerator. Tee Functional Positions have the following characteristics:
